Death Valley...
The kids said this was the worst of their National Parks they have visited because it was too hot. When we stopped at the visitor center, the temperature was 124 (in the shade) and the lady at the desk said that it was probably close to 130 (54 C) at Badwater. They had a low the night before of 97, so tent camping was not an option. Neil said he felt that his legs were going to catch on fire. I would love to visit this amazing and beautiful national park again in the winter.
