After breakfast and teaching the kids how to shoot a bb gun, we drove to Monument Valley in the Navajo Nation just over the border in Arizona...

On the way back, we stopped in Mexican Hat and sent some postcards at the post office. Below is the namesake rock outside of town...
We then drove to Bluff Utah and got a motel (Recapture Lodge) for 2 nights. We will do a one day drift trip on the San Juan river tomorrow. This was recommended by our SE Utah travel advisor - Lodo.
